Classes

The Parramatta Art Society offers a number of courses by local artists in a wide range of media.

Classes are held in the Society's Studio at Shop 6, 4 - 14, Hunter Street, Parramatta.

Classes are available for both members and non-members, and can be arranged by contacting the individual tutors.

Demonstrations

The Parramatta Art Society offers regular demonstrations by local artists in a range of subjects and media. 
Unless indicated demonstrations are held in the Society's Studio at 6/4-14, Hunter Street, Parramatta.


The price to attend the demo is $10 and includes a light supper​.

Workshops

We organise Workshops bi-monthly which run from 9.30am, for 10am start to 4pm usually on a Sunday.

Exhibitions

Parramatta Art Society organises a number of art events and exhibitions where members can ​exhibit and sell their artwork. 

All paintings on display at the Gallery are For Sale to the public

Painting Equipments

Sketch Club

Members only are invited join our weekly Sketch Club sessions every Wednesday from 1pm to 3pm at the gallery, where you can unleash your creativity in a supportive and friendly atmosphere. Whether you're an experienced artist or just starting out, bring your materials and enjoy a space filled with inspiration, camaraderie, and refreshments. All skill levels are welcome to explore their artistic talents and connect with fellow art enthusiasts.

There’s absolutely no charge for our members to attend, making it a perfect opportunity to explore your artistic talents.

Plein Air

En plein air is a French expression that means “in the open air.” It is used by artists to describe the art of outdoor painting, capturing landscapes and views in natural light.

There are no En plein air outings organised as yet, stay tuned for updates.
